Roopak Kallurkar

Roopak Kallurkar is a prominent classical tabla player in India, trained under tabla maestro Dr. Pt. Rajgopal Kallurkar. He began his musical journey at age five, embracing the Farrukhabad gharana while also mastering other styles. Roopak has earned a CCRT scholarship for his exceptional skills and achieved distinction in the Alankaar exam conducted by the Akhila Bharata Gandharva Maha Mandal. As a versatile artist, he has accompanied numerous musicians, showcased his talent on Indian television, and performed solo as well as with vocalists and Kathak dancers throughout the country, establishing himself as a respected figure in the classical music scene.
