HS Venugopal

Hemmige Srinivasa Murthy Venugopal began his Carnatic violin training at age five under Vid. A V Prakash and later M S Srinivasa Murthy. With over 30 years of experience, he is recognized as both a solo performer and an accompanist, performing extensively across major sabhas in India and abroad. Venugopal has composed music for dance ballets and devotional albums and runs the Gokulam School of Music in Bangalore, mentoring numerous disciples. His contributions to music have earned him accolades, and he remains a prominent figure in the Carnatic music scene, showcasing his talent and dedication to the art.
