Diego Hadez

Diego Hedez is a talented young trumpeter from Cuba, now based in New York. He released his debut album in January 2022 with CommonGoodRecords and participated in the “Avant-Garde” music program in Italy, performing concerts and recording with the Quintet “Sounds of Freedom.” His latest project, released by 577records, features notable musicians like Francisco Mela and Jeff Pearring. Diego is dedicated to exploring free improvised music through his ensemble, The New Quartet, and has collaborated with legendary artists such as Daniel Carter and William Parker. He continues to innovate across various formats, including trios, quartets, and quintets.
