BS Prashanth is a talented Mridangam artist who began his musical journey at age 3 under the guidance of K.N. Krishnamurthy. He further honed his skills with renowned maestro Patri Satish Kumar and is also proficient in Kanjira, learned from C.P. Vyasa Vittala. An "A" grade artist with All India Radio, Prashanth has performed extensively for AIR and Doordarshan, captivating audiences at prestigious sabhas across India. He has earned accolades in various music competitions and received the "Nadajyothi Kala Pratibha Puraskara" for his contributions to music, establishing himself as a rising star in the Indian classical scene.
