Alex Sill
Alex Sill began playing guitar and piano at 12, rapidly gaining recognition with awards and mentors. He won a top spot in Lee Ritenour’s Six String Theory Competition and studied at CalArts under Larry Koonse, with Steve Vai praising him as exceptionally talented. Sill honored Allan Holdsworth in tribute concerts with top musicians and premiered “Montana Suite” in 2013. His debut solo album, *Experiences: Real and Imaginary* (2019), features original compositions and collaborations with Grammy-winning artists like Dave Grusin. Post-release, Sill toured with Simon Phillips’ Protocol and co-wrote for their 2022 album, *Protocol V*.
