Alex Ciavarelli

San Diego guitarist Alex Ciavarelli, a Jazz Studies graduate from San Diego State University, is set to release his debut album, *Oscar Peterson On Guitar*, in late 2023. The album reimagines the works of renowned pianist Oscar Peterson for jazz guitar. Alex has toured extensively across the U.S., performing with straight-ahead and gypsy jazz ensembles. As a freelance musician based in San Diego and Southern California, he plays in both group and solo settings. Influenced by Joe Pass, Andreas Oberg, Oscar Peterson, Pat Martino, and George Benson, Alex brings a diverse and dynamic approach to his music.
